Complete Game Physical Therapy: Rochelle’s Telehealth Success Story

During the Covid-19 crisis, Complete Game Physical Therapy has been dedicated to providing expert care to our clients via telehealth virtual appointments.This benefit has served our patients well and even though we have now reopened under under the guidelines in Massachusetts Phased Reopening Plan, we continue to offer telehealth appointments to both new and established patients.

 Sharing her experience with this service, we present Rochelle. We normally have a Patient of the Month and she is our first Telehealth Patient of the Month. 

 “Being able to receive the expert diagnostic and prescriptive care from Greg during this pandemic has been nothing short of a godsend,” Rochelle states when asked about her experience. 

 “My hip had been bothering me for quite some time, but escalated to the point of not being able to walk without significant pain. At the same time, most businesses in the state of Massachusetts shut down.” Rochelle searched for a solution and thankfully, found Complete Game. “Replying to a Complete Game PT email offering telehealth appointments, I reached out to Greg. I knew Greg from being the PT that helped my teenage boys and provided excellent care for sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.”

 We were able to schedule a convenient time for Rochelle and Greg’s Telehealth appointment. “Within days, I was remotely working with Greg to diagnose my issue and recommend specific exercises targeting deficits and imbalances in range of motion and strength. Within a short time, I was thankfully walking without pain.”

 Rochelle continues with her work with us. “Since the anatomy of the areas surrounding and supporting the hip are complex, I’ve learned that the rehab process can also be just as complex. It’s no surprise that I’ve had some minor setbacks as my rehab progresses, but Greg’s optimism, encouragement, and ability to clearly describe the anatomy and overlapping pathologies have all been instrumental in keeping me on track. I’m looking forward to returning to my active lifestyle.  When I do, I’m confident I will have learned the tools necessary to minimize or eliminate a possible recurrence.”
