Complete Game Physical Therapy Welcomes Our New PT, Andrew Cook
We are happy to welcome our new Physical Therapist, Dr. Andrew Cook. In the time he has been with us, he has become an integral part of the Complete Game Physical Therapy family.
Andrew completed his undergraduate degree at Chapman University, earning a BFA in Dance. From 2005-2010, he danced professionally for contemporary companies in Southern California and NYC before deciding to pursue a career in physical therapy. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. In 2018, he was named a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities. Andrew has extensive training in manual therapy, dance medicine, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and vestibular rehabilitation. He is also a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science.
Andrew's clinical interests include orthopedics, neck injuries, working with athletes, and treating vertigo and dizziness. Because of his background, Andrew is also passionate about working with dancers, treating dance-specific injuries and implementing cross-training strategies to make the dancer stronger and more resilient to the physical demands of the sport.
In his spare time Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids and French Bulldog. He is also an avid year-round mountain biker.
